As mentioned above I’m currently a student at the University of Florida currently studying Media Production, Management and Technology. According to my degree I’ll have specialized in Film and TV Production, but I just have a love for anything video. News, Documentary, Music Video, or even YouTube, I just love seeing the infinite ways to make something. I feel video is perhaps the most expressive form of media, as it’s widely accessible and captures our two biggest senses.

Despite that, I don’t spend all my time on projects, with a lot of it spent listening to music or spending time outdoors. I remember as a kid listening to songs and imagining stories that went along with them, and I try to keep that creativity alive as time goes on. As a professional, I think when stuck or struggling it’s important to step aside and look at it from a different angle. In media, brute force seldom works and taking the time to not approach head on is often an important trait. For instance, I’m a fan of finishing logo designs by placing them on sample products and seeing how it holds up against the actual product, and often times the smallest errors become way bigger, letting me see them without spending hours on it.

Additionally, I have a love for giving back to my community and trying to give back to the world that has let me follow my passions. For instance, I am an Eagle Scout and dedicated much of my youth to helping people and my community. This is a trend I aim to continue as life continues, much more recently I was a volunteer at the first two Ocala Film Derbies, helping high school students make short films from nothing in a single day.

At the end of the day the most important thing to me is that I can take pride in what I do, knowing it helps people be it through educating, entertaining, or whatever else the day may bring.
